Protecting the Technology Behind Your Mission
Valiell Tech helps nonprofits strengthen cybersecurity, protect donor and organizational information, and improve incident readiness without losing sight of budget, staffing, and operational realities.
Discuss Your Security PrioritiesThe security environment
Nonprofits, charitable organizations, associations, and community organizations run on cloud platforms and donor-management tools with small IT capacity, often part-time or volunteer. They hold donor, beneficiary, and employee data that carries real sensitivity even without a formal compliance mandate driving its protection. Staff and volunteer turnover makes consistent access control especially hard to maintain over time.

How Valiell Tech supports nonprofits
Engagements are scoped to what the organization can act on: a single assessment, a focused fix, or ongoing fractional guidance, with recommendations prioritized so limited staff time goes to what reduces risk first. We pay particular attention to access control as staff and volunteers come and go, since that's where nonprofit environments most often drift out of alignment with who should actually have access to what.
Expected engagement outcomes
Clearer visibility into who has access to what across cloud platforms, a prioritized remediation plan sized to available budget and staff time, stronger account-lifecycle practices for staff and volunteer turnover, improved phishing and donation-fraud resilience, and better-tested backup and recovery readiness. We don't guarantee prevention of fraud, breach, or service interruption.
Frequently asked questions
Can services be scoped to a limited budget rather than a full program?
Yes. Engagements can start as a single, narrowly scoped assessment and expand later; nothing requires committing to an ongoing program upfront.
Do you offer nonprofit pricing or discounts?
We don't have a standing nonprofit discount. Pricing is discussed directly and reflects the scope we agree on.
Can Valiell Tech work with our existing IT volunteer or managed provider?
Yes. Engagements are designed to complement whoever currently handles your IT, whether that's a volunteer, part-time staff, or an outsourced provider.
How do you handle staff and volunteer turnover in an access review?
We review current account and access-lifecycle practices and recommend a process for offboarding and access changes that's realistic for a small or part-time team to actually maintain.
Do you support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?
Yes, both. Security reviews and ongoing monitoring are available for either platform.
